Cindy the SRNA - Week 12
*sigh* The seniors are done. I'm rather jealous. I feel like I should've been in that class. Applied for it and probably would have been accepted if darn Margie hadn't screwed me over with her rec. Hard for people to be encouraging when they're as jealous as hell, I suppose. My fault too, I guess. I should've been on it more. I did feel guilty taking it away from her, but later I felt like she was never really serious about doing it.
So, 4 more days left. Might do 5. I'm returning to VB tonight, so will have nothing to do tomorrow, and might go in. I told everyone my last day was Fri, so I'll be there for that. Plus, Julie and Jaimee are planning on doing tomorrow and not Fri, so I'll have the run of the place! MWAHAHA! Bought chocolates and cards for the VB crew yesterday to say goodbye. Don't really know if I'd want to work there. It's a decent place, but so far away! Maybe PD. They do have a 50K tuition bonus that other places don't (plus a higher base salary...), but you have to be FT for minimum 5 years. I'm not sure what to do. I'm still rotating to other sites and trying to figure out what I want.
This week was ok. Dr G actually sought me out to work with him on Fri. I was pretty flattered. Did one day of peds with the grumpy-sarcastic doc. She was a lot better than I thought she'd be. Plus, she's one of the few who actually challenged my knowledge. I liked spending time with her. Other than that, another week down. One more to go!
With PA cousins now. They bought a WII. Actually had never seen/played with one before. Holy crap, that bowling game is addictive! I have arm cramps from that and billiards. I still want a PS3, though. Although, by the time I get around to buying one, it'll probably be time for the PS4.
