Cindy the SRNA - Week 17
How's clinical? It's OK. Nothing too fun going on. Will be working w/ attendings next week. Should be interesting. Did some kid MRIs on Tues.
Wednesday was a nose case that was interrupted with the worst kind of news. Harald died at 8:50.
One hysterical cab ride later I was in his room, staring at an emaciated blue body that looked nothing like the jolly fat man who kids would mistake for Santa Claus.
I got the rest of the day and week off from clinicals. Spent it dealing with my other psycho relative who is going to die soon because she's refusing all medical treatment for her 3rd heart attack in favor of vitamins. Her EF is 15%, she has severe Aortic Stenosis and clots floating around in the heart. So yeah, Mary will be #3 to die. Her ex was #1, Harald was #2. GMa is improving a bit, so I've got a smidge of hope she'll at least make it to my and my bro's graduations next year.
We'll see.
