I feel you, Jason. On the night before my big exam (tonight) I found out that Stephen went on a date with someone because I don't want to be exclusive. It hurt so much more than I thought it would. I can barely focus on my studies or stop crying long enough to read.

Sometimes when I feel blue like that, I put my feelings into a song like this:

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens;
Shredding someone's eye with a carrot peeler;
A sewing needle in someone's urethra;
These are a few of my favorite things.

Nipples in a meat grinder and paper cuts on the iris;
A razor blade inside a lollipop and schnitzel with noodles;
Prying off fingernails with a bottle opener;
These are a few of my favorite things.

When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

(This isn't to make light of your feelings by any means. I just couldn't resist, though.

At the risk of sounding like a generic sympathy card, hold tight and buck up. Things will get better.)
