and they always suffer from the human condition as much as anything else
it's sad.. but the cracks were always there, we started out as individual pockets and we still are to most people (just the pockets are bigger)
Like for example (although along traditional lines for the country anyway) there is a riff between north and south UK furs
And furs are still nation proud
We may be furs but we are still in part human…. And prone to all the same failings….. like feeling superior if we can get away with it
Of course there are world furs (like me).. But sometimes I do wonder exactly what percent of furs attend conventions outside their own countries
And then you have other kin (which is a whole different subject)

I was just pointing out that the fandom isn't always the "open arms welcoming with hugs" as it's always made out to be.

However, if anyone does anything that would give the fandom more of a negative image than it already has, they will be ostracized and shunned in a matter of moments.
