I will personally never fault anyone for not being "productive" or "contributing" to society. As I see it, we support the system so that the system will support us, and if we've been working our asses off but still feel unsupported, then the failure is certainly not on our end.

Sorry to hear about the crappy feelings. I loathe so much they way "productive" work somehow came to mean "wage-earning" work. When you post here or on DF, that is of immense value (not that I expect anything, obviously!). It took me a long time to accept that my blog stuff even counted as writing. I hope you enjoy your rest time!
