Winter is coming? Winter done came! There was frost on my car weeks ago! And it gets dark at frigging 5pm! I finish teaching and it's night! What the heck's up with that!
pssshhh... I wish the sun was still up at 5pm! Here I`m lucky if I`m riding home at 4pm and it isn`t the far end of twilight! I`m still teaching and it`s night! And it`s uphill, both ways!/[end crotchity grandpa voice]
Actually this is only a slight exaggeration. Having mountains on either side really does cut into the daylight quite a bit. While normally I think I would be able to see light outside up until 5, the shadows from the mountains do cut it at least 45 minutes shorter... But it was the cold and frost that I first noticed today.
