Okay, so in the Comics News World today (thanks, The Beat!) it was announced that Rumiko Takahashi's new series (!!) is going to be run online in english simultaneous to its Japanese release. I really hope she does buck the trend because I will laugh my ass off if you have to take like a week off from your comic to do Takahashi dojinishi.

I will agree that after a while, Ranma 1/2 just got...tired. I sold all my volumes to someone else.

I had no idea you were a Takahashi fan! Hiii o/ Thanks for the links.

I also hope she goes away from the standard that her last two series set. Personally, I prefer the one-shots she used to do more than her newer stories. They felt a lot more original and didn't have time to get repetitive (although some did sorta mirror.) I support you in making a fancomic if she actually does do something new with Rin-Ne. >:| ...but given how the guy looks on the main page of the comic's site, I'm thinking he'll fall into the 'brash man' category.

Also, while I'm here, I wanna say that I really like your comic now. I wasn't as into it for the first few pages, but it picked up pretty quickly. :')

I can never stay mad at Ranma, or even at young Inuyasha fans because hey, it's always new to someone at some point! When I was 11 or 12 or whatever, Takahashi was shockingly fresh :')

It's been a very long time since I read/saw them, but there were a lot of little gems in Rumic Theater (I remember being really impressed by Fire Tripper, specifically), and Maison Ikkoku was pretty different than her more recent works. I mean seriously, Takahashi writing ROMANTIC CLOSURE? It hasn't happened since!

I don't really have high hopes for Rin-Ne, but that doesn't mean I won't be following it initially :') Here's to hoping!

Also, thank you! :') I'm doing my best to get it as good as it can be. It's hard establishing a big story like that, so I hope I can do myself justice as I go.
