Studies on Comics

I'm sorry if this is out of the blue, I found your livejournal through a long list of links from other comic artists, so I'm not sure who to credit. While flipping through your entries, I came across this one, and it piqued my interest as you talk about studies that show that comics are useful as encouragement for reluctant readers. I'm hoping you'd be willing to share those studies (if you still have access to them), since they relate directly to the topic of my thesis- Using Comics as a Reading Tool.
