[video - week 12, day 5]
[When the screen flickers to life, at first it shows nothing but the sky. It's a bright blue, so blue it feels like one could disappear into it, and never be seen again. There's a quiet noise, easily received as the wind blowing smoothly across the surface of the hitomi itself, invading the speakers and creating a soft crackling sound in the background; slowly, lazily, a piece of black fabric floats into view. After a moment or two, there's a sharp noise, like a subdued cry, and the fabric is snatched back, disappearing.
Then the scenery moves, changing, to reveal a tree, taller than it would normally appear, and a small, pale face with a firm frown and narrowed eyes.]
Hm. [She seems thoughtful for a moment, looking everywhere but at the screen; then she refocuses, dark eyes looking straight ahead into the network.]
This is a curious place - but it's not where I'm supposed to be. [Her eyes narrow even more, into a glare.] Why am I not where I'm supposed to be?! I want to see how it ends! [Muted stomping can be heard not far from the hitomi itself, and Road emits a loud, frustrated groan as she throws the thing down, effectively ending the transmission.]
