[Matt's seen this trick before. He still can't do it himself. But he cracks up when the music starts. Oh, god, I'm dating a dork. And it's kind of really awesome.
Things aren't good. There's some asshole local out there with a grudge against Elfangor and ideas about making a profit off J. Matt still can't sleep too well. There's nothing he can do about any of that right now, and damn, it does feel good to laugh. He drops down onto the bed, still holding the blaring Hitomi.]
If you think I'm gonna dance, you're out of your fucking mind, man.
Honestly, things have been far too tense lately. So it's a relief to hear Matt laugh, to see the worry melt off his features, even if only for a little while.
And he's going to drag that out for as long as he can.
So with a smirk and no warning, Elfangor drags Matt up off of his bed (his weight advantage being rather useful here) and starts spinning him around, laughing freely.]
[Matt's self-conscious as only someone totally aware he has no rhythm at all can be. But he's still laughing, and really? You don't need coordination to spin around, thank god.
He tugs at Elfangor to bring him closer.]
If any of this gets recorded, dude. I'll hide in my room forever. I won't even come out for you.
[Yes, evidence of Matt attempting dance-like moves rates as worse than dreams on the embarrassment scale. Dreams are involuntary.]
It's not cheating! It's making use of an advantage.
[He schools his face into a (perhaps overdone) pout at Matt's threat, and mouths along to the line "You make a grown man cry!" But he can't maintain it and bursts into laughter.]
I suppose I'd have to come in after you, then. [He grins, and ducks in for a quick kiss before spinning Matt around again.]
[Matt sticks his now-silent Hitomi back into his jeans pocket, where it lives whether he likes it or not, and looks up at Elfangor.]
I haven't forgotten I owe you something...
[He leans in until their noses touch, and he thinks he was kinda better at flirting when he didn't know he was doing it, but he also thinks Elfangor probably doesn't mind.]
This, [Matt whispers, and closes the distance, his eyes drifting shut, and oh, there isn't music anymore, but there might as well be. He knows the thought is cheesy, and he doesn't care. He's savoring this, not the first kiss, not even the first real kiss, because that would mean the others didn't count, which Matt emphatically feels they did, but a first all the same, and right when he needed it.]
[He hums into the kiss (warm and yummy floats up from memory, and oh, it definitely applies) and just holds Matt close. He may not have any cannabis in his system this time, and his mind may not be whirling from the effects of V, but it's still a high, being like this with Matt.]
[Matt slips his fingers into Elfangor's hair, and licks out, deepening the kiss, taking his time. There is magic here, between them, in the way they can create this time and space just for the two of them. The crazy world they live in, and all its problems, are still beyond this room; Matt hasn't forgotten that. But for these few moments, they can simply be.]
[Magic, indeed--and he swears he can feel it dancing in Matt's skin where his fingers skim just under his shirt, warm and vibrant.]
Mmm... so how was that, for a sober kiss? [Elfangor grins and quirks an eyebrow, his hands still trailing playfully along toward the hem of Matt's pants.]
Mm-- [Matt echoes, distracted by that teasing brush of skin. Mm kind of says it all, actually.]
That's not all I wanted to do sober.
[He's blushing, of course, and tips his chin up for another kiss, just grazing the corner of Elfangor's mouth; there's something irresistible about it when he grins like that.]
[God, it's always so adorable when Matt blushes like that, and Elfangor couldn't possibly stop himself from smiling at it even as he captures Matt's lips again.]
Yeah? What else have you got in mind? [He nudges Matt's shirt up a bit as he presses a kiss to his ear, flicking his tongue against the shell, making it clear that he's got a few ideas of his own.]
[Elfangor glances to the floor behind Matt--yes, his Hitomi is off. He nudges it aside with his foot as he backs Matt up towards his bed, and slips his hands into the pockets of Matt's jeans to retrieve his Hitomi...and also to give a teasing squeeze. He holds up the device to show that it's off.
And then he tosses it aside, and nudges Matt back onto the bed, clambering up after him to straddle his hips.
He doesn't say anything, too caught up in staring at Matt, at the blush blooming across his skin. He bends close to lick at Matt's neck. Mm, so warm.]

[He pulls Elfangor closer again, slips an arm around his waist, and tries to sway in something approaching time with the music.]
