[Matt's smoking, and his goggles are sitting on top of his head, which means it's obvious how wide his eyes are. He's also sort of grinning, thanks to his geek senses tingling.]
[He gives a little wave with the hand holding the cigarette.]
And you never know around here. Like, I can turn into a dragon. [He's not especially close-mouthed about this, since he figures everyone knows by now anyway.]
Has anyone given you the welcome-wagon speech yet?
I did get this by accident... But that doesn't make me a superhero, man. I don't think they happen in my world.
[And if they had, what would Matt have done with his powers? Coded faster? Slept even less? Geek-man and his sidekick... Nah, he kind of was the sidekick.]
[Mikey says eagerly, his voice rising with excitement.]
There's this one guy called the Silver Sentry, and he's the leader of the JUSTICE FORCE! They're the Super hero team of my world, and they keep the world safe from harm!
[Although Mikey thinks that he and his brothers do their own share of the saving the world thing.]
I'm an honorary member of the Justice Force you know.
[His voice is practically bursting with pride.]
I think that being able to save the world and do good is AMAZING! Of course, everyone can do good, and more people should do good, but a SUPERHERO has the power to change the world for the better!
[Matt grins. He sort of wishes his world had been a place where good and evil were so obvious to everyone. Where, like, Detective Man! (exclamation point included) would inevitably have triumphed over his arch-nemesis, Kira-Boy. Drawn out over about five hundred issues, but still.
He almost hates the idea that Mikey's eventually going to realize that there's not really any saving Kannagara from bad guys. Not for good.]
There's a map on the Hitomi, but southeast-ish from the big tree?
[But getting to the point: mutants, and an underground society, that's really cool.]
So, you have powers too? Are there lots of arch-villains?
[He's picturing the kind of battles where bits get knocked off of buildings, and, like, civilians in a bus get saved from plummeting over the edge of something. Not the kind of war his world had, where most people didn't care what the bad guy did as long as he was killing people they could feel morally superior to.]

D'you always look like that?
Reply
[Mikey says cheerfully, peering down into the funny touch screen at the guy talking to him.]
My name's Mikey, what's yours?
[He was grinning now. Mikey loves meeting new people (as long as they weren't trying to hunt him]

[Mikey exclaims bouncing eagerly from foot to foot.]
Can you do anything else? Can you breath fire? Are you a big dragon?
[Mikey LOVES people with superpowers! They were always so awesome to talk to and get to know.]
Reply
Yeah, I can breathe fire. And I'm pretty big. I'd have to go outside to change if I wanted to keep my house in one piece.
[He feels, vaguely, as if Mikey might be getting excited over someone who doesn't really deserve it, and he rubs at the back of his neck.]
It's, like, super-advanced technology, though. I'm not inherently that awesome.

That is just so cool! And not all superheroes are born with their powers you know. Most of the time they get it by accident!
[And when they did, they used their powers to defeat evil and do good.]

Do they happen in yours, like, for real?

It'd be nice if all the worlds worked like that.

[Mikey says with confidence. That's how things worked in his world, the good guys always won, even when it looked like they didn't.]
Anyway, where should I go from here? I'm not camping out under this tree tonight you know.
[He'd rather not. Sleeping in the forest? Well, he'd prefer it if his brothers were around.]

[He's not that sure, having never needed to use one.
And right about now, his own geekiness is striving to be heard.]
Is everyone in your world a turtle? Are you from another planet where you evolved differently?
Reply
[Mikey asks, before answering the more important question.]
Nope, I'm a mutant.
[Mikey pauses.]
A mutant turtle.
[another pause]
Ok, I'm a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
[BIIIIG grin here]
Most people on the planet are humans, though there are quite a few aliens and such, and human's are totally unaware of them
