Bury them down where they can't hurt you anymore, can't distract you from the businesses of hate and revenge and breaking all the things that remind you of a world that only exists to crush you down. When it hurts your eyes to look at the bright, hot planes and edges of damning truths, it's a simple thing to realize all at once - that you don't have to look. You can turn away, close your eyes, sink into the depths and not look, not hear them calling your name, not remember what you can't have anymore
