[Week 33, Day 4 | accidental video]
[The video feed starts with a jumble of sound and color as the Hitomi spills from Elfangor's pocket, outer clothing shoved off in a rush even as blue fur begins to sprout, stalk eyes popping into existence, mouth fusing shut. He couldn't care less about any of that right now, when all he wants is his tail blade, and for very good reason--actually, three very good reasons, which become evident as the wolves circle him. They seem wary of this strangely changing prey, but still they stalk closer.
Those few seconds are precisely what Elfangor needs, and his tail schloops out. He snaps his tail blade forward, in a threatening motion, trying to keep the creatures at bay as the morphing process finishes.
Just as it does, the first wolf lunges for him.
Luckily for Elfangor, Andalites can move much more quickly than wolves.
In a matter of moments, there are two dead wolves, and one severely wounded, but still breathing. He has no intention of allowing the creature to suffer for long, even irritated as he is for the damned things having attacked him in the first place. What was with this place and things trying to eat him?
He only takes the time to reach out and lay his hand on the animal's heaving side, acquiring its DNA. During the acquiring trance, the wolf's breaths become shallow and even.
And then Elfangor dispatches it.
He quickly morphs back to human afterwards, grimacing at the blood on his hands--but then it is clear that there is something else frustrating him, though the exact source is a bit elusive. He starts looking for something hidden in the grass as he begins to pull his outer clothes back on, muttering to himself the entire time, something about alloys being unreliable, and that he needs to try something else. But then he finds whatever it is that he's searching for, which cannot be seen from the angle of the Hitomi, and he shoves it into his pocket.
Elfangor doesn't even notice the Hitomi recording until he reaches for it where it dropped. When he does, he just rolls his eyes and shuts it off.]
