[Week 33, Day 5, late] Throw my heart into overdrive
[The Hitomi turns on as it tumbles onto the grass, catching only a glimpse through the tall green blades of Elfangor where he lays, flat on his back, beneath the great Himorogi tree. Staring skyward, and yet not really looking at anything. Lost in thought. Speaking aloud, quietly, but not to himself. To someone who may not even be listening, for all he knows.]
I don't suppose you could have brought me back to where you'd taken me from, huh.
[A sigh.] I've done what you needed of me, what he needed of me. I know that he will endure, for all that he does not seem to want to. He is stronger than he believes himself to be.
[He reaches for something in his pocket, though it can't be seen from this angle, and he huffs out a quiet laugh.] I guess this answers the question of whether you were sincere in that promise.
[Slowly, Elfangor rolls to his side and sits halfway up, when suddenly his entire body goes rigid as he realizes just how late it is, that it should not be so late, and he winces.] Fuck! You shit! You said it would not take so long!
[Panicked, he scrambles for the Hitomi, barely even noticing that it has already been recording.]
Matt! Tobias! Everything is all right, I'm coming home.
