[Week 15] [Day 2] [Accidental Video] [Backdated again!]
[When the Hitomi turns on, it revels a young teenager, wearing shabby robes and a even shabbier expression: his hair has grown to where it goes past his ears, unkempt and filled tangles that can pass for rats nest. There are hints of circles developing underneath his eyes, and the light in his eyes look flat. If it wasn't for the fact that all of the monsters, including the undead, were wiped out by a bunch of trees, then you might have mistaken the boy for a zombie. It certainly doesn't help that he has the speed of one: he's spacing out as he sits down on a stall in a slow, clumsy fashion. At the angle of the Hitomi is broadcasting, one can see the five o'clock shadow developing on his chin and jaw.
A sharp voice rang out: "Hey you! You people don't belong here!"
The boy turns and stares at the person who shouted off-screen.]
My people?
[He asks this dimly, as though he doesn't understand. In a way, he doesn't.
"Yes, your people!" The voice snapped back. "You caused all this!"
The bedraggled boy just stares at the man as though he's the stupid one, this time around.]
So if a thunderstorm hits, it's because I took a piss?
[He snorted and takes a swing out of a cup. To those might might be suspicious, it could be alcohol. In reality it's just plain, unbloodied water. Though after this confrontation is done, he is totally going to get a strong drink or five.]
Grow up.
[There's a scraping of chairs being forcibly moved, some yelling from the speaking man and from others as well. It sounded like somebody is being restrained from beating the ever-loving crap out of the boy. The child soldier drinks on, not paying one iota worth of attention to his surroundings, staring blankly at nothing. On a whim he looks down at the Hitomi and doesn't even look slightly surprised. He only sighs and reaches for the Hitomi - a familiar gesture, that - and the feed clicks off.]
