[Accidental Video] [Week 16, Day 7]
[The screen opens on a snake, long body mostly coiled save for the diamond-patterned head swayed slowly back and forth, and as the hitomi skitters a little to the side, nudged by a small foot, Dre can be seen, slowly taking an easy stance in front of the serpent who seems more curious than anything.
Dre is careful, steady, but relaxed, slowly ever so slowly raising one leg off the ground and his hands in a snake-like motion into the air. Just like he had learned at the temple. Cobra stance. Calm like the water until the snake reflects. And with time, as Dre balance because firmly grounded and his eyes are intently locked on the serpent, he begins to move his head to one side, and the other, and gradually the snake, captivated and confused by this boy's odd movements, begins to follow and imitate, swaying with him.
And he can't help but smile when he sees its finally working, after trying like a ZILLION times with who knows how many snakes.
He was TOTALLY going to have to tell Mr. Han about this.
...one day.
Just then something flies through the air from off screen and nails him directly in the cheek, sending him flying and rolling on the ground with a thud.
"W-woah.. what the???" Looking around in confusion Dre locates a large clump of dirt, now broken on the ground, that had just been thrown at him, and only has a few more seconds after that before several more are thrown. Covering his head he calls out, "Hey! W-wait!! CUT THAT OUT!!"
Trying to stand up whilst yelling is heard in the distance, Dre stumbles again when another dirt clod nails him in the side. The snake, now agitated, bares its teeth, and when Dre stumbles too close, lunges forward and sinks its teeth into the hand that the boy had used to catch himself on the ground.
Dre cries out and the last thing recorded is him fleeing the snake and stumbling away as fast as he can manage. ]
