[Did I get knocked out? Donning a confused scowl and looking around with apprehension, Lee tries to make sense of his surroundings. This is DEFINITELY NOT the battlefield he remembered. …Unless they have moved on? Had they moved on? No! Surely he would have remembered a change in location and their magnificent victory against the Mist ninja! Of course! Yes. Definitely. Maybe. …Probably. He gives a frustrated snort and crosses his arms impatiently, eying the area for hint. Nothing seems to explain why he is here or why he has no recollection of getting here or (and most importantly!) why Gai-sensei and the others are not here with him.]
[Ok, no. This is getting him nowhere. Lee taps his foot on the ground as he considers how best to handle this most peculiar situation (Gai-sensei always did that when he was figuring things out, so Lee did so too. If foot-tapping worked for Gai-sensei…!) What would Gai-sensei do? (Hmm. Hmmmm.) OF COURSE! Gai-Sensei would be decisive! He would not wait for help to arrive; he would MAKE it arrive for him!]
[Remembering the device he found on his person when he awoke, Lee pulls it out from his vest pocket and fiddles with its controls, trying to make sense of the foreign tech. Call…call would be very good IF Lee knew where to call to specifically. Dream is just a very odd choice, but one Lee intended to revisit later because curiosity has gotten the better of him. Network! That suggests a broad range of recipients, and while some may turn out to be less than desirable, Lee is sure the majority who would get his message will be good, helpful people. He makes his choice of video.]
Gai-Sensei! Sakura-san! Kakashi-sensei! Division Three, please come in! Do you copy?!
[Lee gives a frustrated shake to his Hitomi and looks around his own surrounding area. Focusing entirely on the contents of a brightly lit little rectangle, however fascinating and useful it may be, is not going to protect him from enemy nin if they are around! He needs to be on his guard!]
