[ Hello, Kannagara, say hi to Juudai once more, who is sending this video from a beach near Mizusato. The ocean is visible behind him, framing the shot. ]
Okay, everyone, I guess it's time for me to find out just how different your worlds really are from mine.
[ He pulls out his deck of cards - some people may have already seen this, to others this might be new. ]
Where I come from, a lot of people play this card game called Duel Monsters. [ Ah, man, this feels so weird explaining something that's so basic to everything he knows, but he presses on. ] It's... well, at first, it was just your average mass-produced trading card game, but then people found out that the creator based the card designs on actual shadow games that they played in ancient Egypt. With, uh, like real magic and stuff. [ He pulls out one card and flips it around to show Kuriboh. ] So what a lot of people don't realize is that these spirits still live in these cards, and some people have the power to see them and talk to them. That's what I can do.
Duel Monsters eventually got so popular that its the way most people solve their differences these days. If any of your worlds have something like this, say so, because the other dimensions I've ever been to ran basically the exact same way.
Uh, right - in my world, we had scientists that said that the universe is made up of twelve dimensions, but, uh... [ how to put this, how to put this ] This isn't one of them. And most of you guys don't seem like you're from any of them. I've only been to a couple, but... yeah, just trust me. So, honestly, I thought I knew what was going on here, but now I... really don't.
[ He nervously scratches at his cheek for a second. ] So, yeah. Thanks for your time, I guess.
