[What do you know, it's "A" himself, making an appearance on the network. The wisdom of such a move is questionable, but Yukimi will give him props for the ballsy move of a public broadcast. In any case, the Metsuke are clearly incompetent douchebags if they can't find their fugitive on their own.]

And yes, these "gods" are quite easily irritated when it comes to the dreaming realm. Perhaps it is where they are weakest.

[It turns out he's not a cocky asshole at all, but just a schmuck living under a rock. Not that Yukimi blames him. Aside from the occasional madness that's typical of these parts (like imploding houses), Kannagara is a pretty dull place all around. Though if you're wanted by the authorities, it might be a good idea to stay on top of that.]

Are you referring to the "Metsuke" as you call them? [Because if you are, he has no worry of them. Yomisoto is, after all, a very wild place with many other crimes occurring that distract this police force.]

I was simply curious if there were others looking for me as well.

They can play at being nice pretty well, but they never actually do anything to help people.

Are they always so direct?

Suppose there might have been an instance or two, but it's hard to know if it's just chance or if they actually did it for anyone. And there's most likely always a price, if anything.

Of course. Altruism doesn't exist to them, it seems. What prices do they exact for their "kindness"? [Other than what just happened to him.]

I simply wish to ascertain what boundaries these "gods" have set and what their general temperament is. While admittedly I don't care whether they are angered or not - they probably will be with whatever I do - it would to nice to see just what they are most protective of as they set no rules or laws themselves and just expect people to "know" or leave such things alone. If they are indeed pulling people here from other worlds then they must know the basic nature of the person they are pulling in as well. How foolish of them to pull a scientist into a new world and to not expect him to test this new world and all its realms.
