[ Okay.
This is not Lelouch's house.
It's a mark of just how boring political intrigue gets after a while that his first thoughts upon sitting up are, gee, I wonder if we got kidnapped, I heard that used to happen a lot to heirs closer in line to the throne, although Schniezel's always making that kind of stuff up anyway...
Hmm. Well, he doesn't feel drugged and he's not tied up. Not even to a chair, which was how you were supposed to do it - preferably a chair not bolted to the floor so the kidnappee could scoot over to some nail sticking out of the wall and cut his bonds off and escape heroically, which is how these things were supposed to work out. Preferably.
This is a pretty weird house, too. No lights, no plumbing. Paper screens - oh, wait, okay, Lelouch knows this, paper screens go in Japanese houses. But why would he be in Japan? Relations between Britannia and Japan are currently strained - he's heard them talking about it when they think he's not listening, and picked as much up from the newspapers. It had something to do with trade, he knew that much. Trade was one of Those Complicated Economic Kind of Things; he'd understand it pretty easily if it weren't so boring.
--Maybe the kidnapper is someone in the Japanese government who's planning to use them as hostages! All right, Lelouch tooootally has this one figured out.
Oh, hey look, a phone. ]
[ The video opens with a tiny version of Lelouch giving an incredibly superior look to the screen. ]
Okay, I get it. This is one of those thing where you call this phone and tell me stuff like, "do this or we'll do something bad," and I'm supposed to get scared because you can see me through cameras or something and I don't know where you are.
That's pretty weak.
[ He gets a little more serious - well, as serious as a ten year old boy can look. ]
Now, where's Nunnally?
