Who: Matt and Mello Status: Closed Style: Prose Where: The house in Mizusato When: Week 33, day 4 Rating: PG Warnings: presumably language Summary: Matt's overdue sharing some bad news.
Mello had been trying to make something for himself to do once again, though mostly unsuccessful. Given he was not talented with rudimentary tools and rustic supplies of wood and stone and rope, but still he had been trying to construct a crude hideout in the woods, less for utility, and more for experimentation.
Either way, the fact that he was dirt-covered and scratched, with a face like thunder as he entered the house, was evidence that it wasn't working so well.
Yet the sight of matt as he entered was enough to give him pause, and he slowed his stomping to stand and blink at him.
He said it flatly, as neutrally as possible. Mello already looked pissed, and Matt was well aware he was about to add to it. What could he do, though? He'd tell Mello, and he'd blow up, or he'd put it off some more, and Mello would explode because Matt hadn't told him sooner. No way to win here, so he figured he might as well get it over with.
