The income is definitely kind of nice (though it still galls Yukimi a little bit that he should have to pay for his own upkeep where he's being held captive) but really, the best part of his new job at the newsletter is that it keeps him occupied in a fairly practical manner. Walking all around this cursed place gathering stories can be a bit of a pain in the ass for sure, but he's used to traveling for work from back home, and being car-less isn't that much of a hindrance when one can magic themselves to any corner of this mini world in 30 short minutes.
Today Yukimi has been following up on some stories in Yomisato. The evening is drawing near, and he decides that since he's already here, he ought to stop in at that summoning shop to stock up on bullets. He hasn't had to use his gun very much yet, but it never hurts to be ready. In any case, he's always meant to check it out before. Closing hour is close at hand, so he quickens his pace and reaches the shop door just in time.
"Yo~" is the greeting he gives as he steps into the store.
