It doesn't take much to wake her, really, though her confusion is clear as she stares up at this stranger with uncomprehending eyes for a moment as she blinks away the tears. Disoriented enough to not take exception, she turned to look at the one beside her... and for a moment, could only stare. It looked like...

"Cheshire...?"

The name was whispered, even as her fingers reached out to trace the human face, from cheek to human ear with a sad kind of wonder. Was this his punishment then? they'd been cats, but Cheshire had always been a cat so... his punishment by these gods was to be human?

She didn't understand it, not really, and so she pulled gloved fingertips away, then glanced back up at the boy that had awakened her. Then frowned a bit.

"W-who are you? And where are we?"
