Cross stands outside the entrance of the shrine, smoking a cigarette and waiting for the group to show up. He does agree with what Gokudera said about a meeting maybe not being the best idea, but fixing anything else would take too long so he would rather just do that and think of something else meanwhile. He has some ideas, but he needs to try them, and get materials, and such.
And he's been a little bit busy thinking of other things too. Like Allen's death, for example. It's not that it really effects him as much as he knows it affects Lenalee and probably the Bookman's brat too, but it was a shock and it took some time recovering from completely. But it's not the first time he has dealt with loss, so he knows how to do it. He's fine, yeah. Especially because this isn't even so big because it's not permanent.
Ah well.
This is more important. Getting out of here or at least showing the gods that they won't take just anything is what's important. He does worry about Lenalee, because she has always had problems dealing with things like these, but he knows what he needs to focus on for now. He'll wait and see how things turn out and he might go back to Hisato, but not right now.
He'll just get this meeting out of the way for now. One thing at a time.
