Definitely NOT! But the babysitter likes those magazines and pulls them out of the recycling and leaves them where he can get them. (I inherit them from my best friend, whose boyfriend has a subscription, and they pass them on to me for gym reading. I can't read anything too serious/print-heavy at the gym.) I just enjoyed the contrast of Very Srs Bzness Cai-baby vs. completely frivolous tabloid-consuming Pele..... (who really really wants to play with mama's computer. For now, at least, we have decided that our strategy is completely discouraging him from playing with computers and telling him they are not for babies, rather than getting him his own computer, which we have also considered. The problem is getting him to Skype with the grandparents while NOT touching any of the buttons, esp. since invariably he goes straight for whatever button will cut off the call.....)
