Animal spirits are very wild, wreckless, and dangerous. While the animal's true nature and power are increased exponentially, its intelligence does not grow upon reaching its afterlife. They are as likely as ever to strike out at anything and anyone, especially considering the gruesome circumstances of their death. Kindred spirits may also become aware of the slaughter and join the ranks of angered souls.

Even worse, many of these old religions claimed to be able to harness and direct this power. If this is true, the creators of animal crackers are giving followers of these ancient religions an army of immortal souls bent on destruction and chaos.
