Character: Kanon
Series: Air Gear
Character Age: About 14-15.
Canon: Air Gear is about Air-Trecks (also known as A-Ts) which are basically super powerful motorized rollerblades, and A-Tards, the people who use these A-Ts to perform incredible aerial tricks. ... Okay, so calling them A-Tards isn't exactly canon, but that's basically exactly what A-Treckers are. They have A-T on the brain, A-T on the politics, A-T in Tuesday's Soup maybe. Basically, it's what they live and breathe-- What their lives revolve around.
Kanon is from Tool Toul To, a specialized group of mechanics for A-Ts. He's Ringo's tuner, meaning that he's in charge of Ringo's A-Ts in particular. Kanon is mostly polite and friendly enough, but there's something about him that is unsettling. He clearly has a mind of his own and his demeanor might be off-putting to some, because he does things like kidnap a chair from school because Ringo placed her ass on it. Did I mention that he's kind of obsessive and stalkerish? Ah well. Behind all that, Kanon always seems like he Knows Things. He does things people don't understand for the greater good and to make things happen, willingly playing the role of the bad guy when it is needed. This is to the extent of sacrificing the relationship he has with his most important person, Ringo.
Kanon is a music themed character, and being a tuner has a lot to do with harmony of the body. He speaks with musical markings in his speech bubbles.
