I can really understand your pain dear! It happen to me too and I lost 3 years of JE stuff . nowadays I dont trust in external things I have copies for everything which takes over alll my space but is the only way .
in a year I could manage to get everything back soo there is hope !

you are right.. i need to burn everything into dvds since my computer space is full huhu i don't care how many it cost. afraid same thing happen again to my another external :(( good to know you finally can recover your stuffs :')

sama la, bila cucuk je dia kuar suruh format je. xleh langsung nak access.. huhu
i pon x sampai hati la nak format.. dh wat banyak kali, tak ok ok pun, dok suroh format je -_-!!

yup hantar kedai, dia siap bukak tgok dlm hdd tu, dia kata dia xleh baiki. hampeh tol. kena cari orng pro T__T
apa yg prob sebenarnye pun xtau. guna wayar/usb lain xleh gak.

have you tried using Recuva?
my harddisk dulu pown jadi camtu jugak, asal cucuk usb je suruh format
tp sy x format pown sbb sayang all the videos inside
So my friend suggest me to use Recuva to retrieve all the files in my hard disk and it work!
my harddisk no longer can be used but at least I managed to retrieve my beloved videos inside
