A question?

In the matter of "hearing: motion to enforce visitation or parenting time.

What happens if the custodial parent does not show for court?

I am not seeking legal advise I am asking a question if anyone knows what the court does if one parent does not show for the court date?

Thank you.

I don't know the answer but the people over at law_questions answer these types of questions all the time.

That is your actual court date for the issue.

The judge cant MAKE your ex do anything, she will do what she wants, but maybe this will help you, and he can still legally take action against her... I dont know if you are in KS or MO, but the last time I went for visitation modification (for the opposite reason) the judge ordered us to attend parenting classes and meet with a mediator to work on the issues we were having (didnt work for us, but was kinda helpful). Each judge is different though.

If there is nothing on file with the court saying that you cant pick up your kid from school, than there is no legal reason why you cant.

Good luck.

(sorry, I couldnt respond on law questions..)
