Does anyone have any recommendations on places to purchase a decent quality laminate wood flooring? How about a company or a person to install it? I have considered checking out Lowes or Home Depot but maybe there is a less expensive place around town that somebody knows about. I'd even pay more if it meant good customer service and an installer

We bought and had installed some flooring (bamboo) from Nebraska Furniture Mart and were pretty happy with both the price and the installation.

Of course! I didn't even think about looking there. What is your opinion of the durability of the bamboo you bought there? I've heard bamboo isn't very durable and dents easily.

I love it. We have two big labs too, and even them walking on it hasn't really done much to it. I forget what we got, but it's not just bamboo it's the treated stuff so it's supposed to hold up forever.

They have laminate flooring? Because I don't see that on the website and I'm definitely not replacing my laminate flooring in my apartment with marble.

They do. they did my kitchen.

Also, I recommend against Nebraska Furniture Mart; they came out to survey my kitchen, which was in the same shape yours is currently in, and told me the only thing they could put down was vinyl...at $9/square foot, including demolition charges. MMG did it for $7 and I got hardwood laminate.

Costco sells it, but they can't help with installation, but honestly it is pretty easy to do yourself if you have a saw.

yeah, no saw here...and I wouldn't trust myself to even try haha
