parents day out

Anyone have experience with a good parents day out program in the metro? I would prefer Blue Springs/Independence/Lee's Summit but would like to hear about any experiences anywhere. My boys are 2. Thanks!

My kids both went here: http://www.rockwoodbaptist.org/

I was thrilled with the staff and the program. I can't say enough good things about it.

Their website doesn't give any info but I've sent an email requesting some. Could you tell me a little about it?

I'll try. What did you want/need to know?

How old were your kids? Did they have curriculum? What do they do about naps? Do you know what the cost is?

Ummmm. Anything else I need to know?

They're just at the point where it's hard for me to get things done or run errands so a place a day or two a week would be so nice to have available (I'm not sure I need it EVERY week). Nana is wonderful but she has stuff to get done, too.

I used St. Mark's Catholic Church on Lee's Summit Rd (at 39th). I don't think they have a curriculum or anything fancy, it's just babysitting and playtime. It is right down the road from Target, Wal-Mart, Independence Center, Costco, so I could usually knock out all my errands in less than 3 hours without the kids with me.

That is so inexpensive! I actually think that fits what I'm looking for more than anything.

Do you have to register or do they have a waiting list or anything like that?

Not that I remember (it's been a year since I've been there). I think there was a short enrollment form with basic information, but I'm pretty sure they didn't require immunization records.

Not in your neck of the woods, but I use the Country Club Christian Church on Ward Parkway. Haven't been there for long, but it's gone well so far.
