Well, my roomate is about the complete polar opposite of me, despite the fact that we're both science majors. We seem to get into disagreements in just about every topic there is. So I've discovered some strangely hot button topics that I kind of thought had been widely accepted.
1. Evolution, from if we are single celled to if we really share an ancestor with monkeys to if god just plopped us on earth
2. vaccines good or bad? does the good outweigh the risks? how necessary are they? and my all time favorite, is it just a conspiracy? to do what you ask, i dont even know
3. can a woman be president? she faces sexism from her own gender, perhaps more than the opposite one. (no not just hillary, people hate her for too many reasons for that to be valid)

I dont know of those quite fit as ethical, and apologize if they dont. They seem to the the things that tick katie off though. I guess theres always the standard abortion/life at conception deal.

hope that helps, did for me to get it out, so thanks!

My director of education instructed us to write our students progress reports in a positive way. Is it ethical to do that when the student only detracts from the classroom learning experience? What about the concept of not failing a student?

Compile by regions, compile by age, and cross compile both. Are ethics really looser in vegas? How does middle-america vary from the coasts? How do mass ethics change over generations? Does music like gangsta-rap influence a persons sense of right and normalcy? Involed in an affair? Actually in love? Gun owner? rape victem (i know some people for who losing their virginity to rape totaly changed there sexual ethos)? Were you forced to go to religious school? The answer to that might correlate to diffrences in professed belifes and actual practice. Sexual orentation. Does lack of sanctioned marriage encourage the GBLT comunnity to be more promiscuous?

Is it right to work for someone that you do not believe is ethical? Is it right to work for a company you do not believe cares about its employees or clients...except for their money?
