The forgotten accomplishment

I knew there was something I had forgotten to put here. I finally got my driver's license! Yes, after 24 long years I'm actually finally a real person. Or at least that's what people tell me. I'm trying my best not to give up my old walking and busing ways, though.

don't you feel like an actual adult now? you'd think that would have happened when we were first allowed to vote, but being able to transport myself this freely robbed me of the last vestiges of childhood. i kind of want them back now.

now we don't have to deal with the dmv for like five more years! (not really - they misspelled my name on my license)
