Male-on-male porn simply doesn't draw the attention of the usual suspects who complain about porn to be "degrading" and reducing someone to the value of a piece of meat.
E. g. there's no supposed "driscrimination of women" where there are no women inside of it, so those who usually cry out about this and constantly raise that claim have no attack surface - and if something doesn't fit into their narrow ken, into the crap they always claim by profession, they're not interested. It doesn't offer space to style themselves and present their ego's suggestions as solutions.

("Raise it to an artistic level"? I feel like there's not much happening of that... So much is standard stuff, obsession with dicks and fucking asses while in a jockstrap.
