I do get what you mean about talking online though, it's never quite the real thing and there's always a sense of awkward distance. But it's better than nothing, I guess, so do let's keep in touch over the coming year; it would be lovely. Good luck for your competition this weekend and if you're ever in London let me know okay!

But yes, the sirens were ridiculous. To be fair though, they didn't actually actively chase people out. Just put on some noise-cancelling earphones and you can sit around for a bit longer (if someone asks you to leave, just shout "WHAT DID YOU SAY? SORRY, CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE NOISE")

And they did chase us (OAC) out leh. Ok to be fair we were making quite a bit of noise, but nowhere near the loudness of the sirens that they used to chase us out anyway -.-
