Hmm, so.

Hmm, so. If I were to travel back to LiveJournal to journal and live and stuff, a bit. Who would I be reading? Seems most folks I followed are gone (the quiet gone of tumbleweeds, not the gone-gone of deletion, though there's some of that as well). Some folks I follow are not. (Hello!) Though in some cases I hardly know you, outside of-you were a ( Read more... )

Too many social networking things to keep up with. :D I haven't checked out Twitter. I'm not really inclined to. I have a Google+, but I only really post my blog link and nothing else. So, what is/was livejournal and how did/does it differ from all the rest?

I've been gone for years myself. I have pretty much gotten out of the habit of journaling, even on my wordpress acct. Mostly short stuff on twitter and facebook. After way too much drama, I became exhausted by it all. My attention turned inward and away from outward. I also use Skype a lot to chat. In fact, I probably chat more than anything else nowadays, and even that is fading. I suppose I'm going through a lot of changes. Even my interest in mmo's has faded.

:heh: I'm thankful my interest in MMO's was essentially done before the term came around, sated with MUDs, MUSHes, and MUSEs in highschool. Trying furiously to get back to writing, while keeping gamedev and work and editing and life all going, too. Came across the cover I did for Mother Damnation a while ago...thank you for that arc of my life. I don't think I would have ever gotten to do book covers without your pushing. :)

I do try to stay away from drama. That's nasty stuff....

I completely missed the Age of MUDs, and landed on warcraft because a friend was insisting. I've been playing Runes of Magic, but I'm tired of it. Mid-September I start something different for me. Torchlight 2 comes out and has a multiplayer option, so I'm going to play with my kid and two friends.

I'm very happy that you got fully into doing covers. You have a huge talent for it.
