So I usually don't post about the SPN fandom because I really could careless at all what others think of us but this morning when I got to work I saw an article basically generalizing the fandom and making us seem as though we are a bunch of teenyboppers who can't really even comprehend a complete thought over OMG SAM DEAN HOTNESS *squee* *flail*

i agree but i think it's because of what the show is supposed to be about sam and dean not other people i honestly don't like any character who overpowers the sam and dean screentime really whether they be male or female has nothing to do with it. do you watch the show all the time just curious. I have found when the show generally gets alot of new characters the storylines suffer greatly imo. I agree alot of the women are damsel in distres type characters because uhh that's the show them saving people hunting things so someone has to look weak in the situation. I agree that they should have woman characters like that that should be like the Dean character but imo they never are they're always some fake tough chick and then to have to be saved in the end by the main character is annoying which is why I didn't like Jo because Dean had to save her in the end because she was the blonde chick that the Holmes guy wanted thus not actually providing such a character instead just another close but no cigar type scenario

oh it seriously makes me mad when ppl generalize like that. sure I squee about boys but I'm not 5 years old and I know there are other things about the show. I love how Jared and Jensen like each other and simply make you laugh every time you watch interview with them. CHEMISTRY! it's the best thing about show. not mention comedy in the show itself. plus there were female characters which I loved and hoped to be in the show more like for example Sara, Layla or Ava. I was so sure that Ava was going to be with Sam. they had great chemistry and after just one episode Ava became one of my fav characters right after boys.
So if they give us fresh and well written female character, then I'll be ok with it. ehhh.. good I haven't read this article because it would make mad. I'm mad even reading what you wrote LOL

I'm with you on this - I dont have a fond likling for any of the girls that have been on SN - espeically Jo. Just DO NOT LIKE HER and if Eric is bringing in 2 potential love interest for the guys i want it to actually be believable! like you said, i liked layla's character, and Sarah was my favourite of all the girls on the show. I really hoped they'd bring her back and set her with Sammy - I could totally see that happening, but well... writers hardly ever do what the majority of their fan-base want, huh?

I didn't read the spoilers, so I don't know if you said anything else in there - but I did want to say that I take major offense to that article. Where did you read it?

It takes some major balls to generalize an entire population and that journalist is obviously a moron who didn't do much digging. I'm not majorly into the SPN Fandom, but I do enjoy the show and have some very mature fans of the show on my f'list. While I've never experienced the bad side of SPN fandom, i've come across it in the OTH fandom and it can be very annoying. I would not want to be judged as a person by some of the people in that fandom.

I do only the normal paypal transfer since I have no credit card, so I dont think that would be a prob?
Unfortunately I dont life in the USA, I´m from germany....lil far away *lol*...but I still think the postafe wont be much, ´cause I already got a lot from the US...for a huge letter they charge 1,90 I think....so probably I send you 4 more and then it´ll fit?
