Everytime I finish something, I will be very sad at the awfulness... But I will keep drawing anyway because there is something about Near that makes me never want to give up.
And thank you for the kind comments! You have been very inspiring to me. ♥ I do hope you are feeling better now as compared to the last couple of days... I didn't see an update from you and is quite worried.
I totally understand how you feel. I feel that way when I attempt fic. I just need to keep at it. I used to feel that way about my drawings all the time but I persevered and practiced and drew, drew, drew. One of my mottos was 'a poor drawing is better than no drawing at all' so sometimes I'd have marathons of drawing every single day for a week or two (And I would noticeably improve!) or I'd devote a day to studying a how-to-draw book in the library. I did it for fun and I did it for Near. ♥
You're welcome. ^^ I hope you feel better too. I was checking my inbox and my flist on my iphone like a jillion times to see if you were okay. Right now, I feel a lot better then I was yesterday. I even drew. At first, I didn't feel much like drawing but I made myself draw. I almost gave up because I felt too depressed. But, I kept going and eventually I enjoyed it and I finished! I feel much better for it.
'A poor drawing is better than no drawing'... I like that. I will remember and make it part of my motto as well. I admire your dedication! Though I am doing it more for love (not the 'omg i want to marry Near' kind though). ♥
Melancholic feelings are horrible but more often, it can also be a great source of inspiration. I tend to slip into that mode way too often but I am trying to do random things so it wouldn't become too bad. And it is really good to know you are feeling better and even managed to accomplish finishing a drawing! There's no better way to combat the depress feeling with perseverance. ^^ And hopefully we will get to read a new fic from you soon!
