It was OK. It was really disjoined and seemed like several different filmmakers sort of cobbled it together from everyone else's projects. It started out OK, talking about Iceland and its beautiful and strange geography, and how there's a certain mountain they think was the location of Valhalla. There are some gorgeous shots of igneous rock formations, assorted sunsets, and other photogenic landscapes. Then they talk about Snorri for a bit. But then, at some point, the whole track goes into this retelling of the Nibelungs with some of the Ring musical themes playing in the background. I'm all lolwut? When did my movie about Iceland turn into German myths? Plus the narrator's grasp of English was only slightly above mine of Finnish, and I think they could have found someone who was a little easier to understand. Overall: worth the $5 to see one time. Not worth the $40 to purchase. :)

I have a rule about grizzly bears -- never have a pet that can kill you if he decided to.
