You are on the right track.. what you are taking into account that you really can't with this typ eof logical thinking is that you are going into it with the idea's and emotions of what are doing now and in the past of life and you can't do that..

Ok, well then how would you do it? All I have is what i've seen in the past and what's going on in my life now, there is no other basis for intelligence or even knowledge for that matter than what I know. I can't predict the future :P

Actually in a way you can predict the future.....although not everytime you predict what is going to happen is what the "truth" is....you presieve the future and therefore you are predicting....and sometimes those predictions change day by day or hour by hour or min. by min., but you make things happen, you can in a way let things happen...but if everyone sat and watched.....nothing would happen, therefore you actually predict the future and sometimes others!

The only real way to predict the future is based on what you've seen in the past. Because usually the future is just a replication of the past, using the cliche' "History repeats itself" is where this whole concept comes from. But take away your past experiences and knowledge, and the future itself is completely incomprehensible.
