It's admin assistant stuff for the local Department of Mental Health, with a lot of data entry. Basically, stuff I can do while standing on top of my head, even when my chronic pain flares up. The environment is pretty awesomely supportive and disability-friendly, and my boss and I are kindred souls when it comes to bluntness about being overwhelmed, which is just badass.
To be honest, I'm hoping that in about six months, after I've gotten settled, I can start going to school too and get a bachelor's degree. Admin work is cool, but I don't want to be a secretary my whole life. :P
I was a secretary for ten years as I slowly went to school and worked my way into writing jobs. I really liked it, but the pay just doesn't go very far up. :-(
depends on where you get employed, Sandy's making about $26/hr, with some really nice benefits, and a crazy christmas bonus, but then I'm doing similar work for $11/hr and nothing >.>

What's the job? That's terrific.
