ailene. my godsister and the first person to befriend me in the philippines. i've been so blessed by her. she's affected/influenced -what's the word?!- my life so much. i tried telling her this but i couldn't explain it to her. she also has good taste in books

deus. you know, you are one of the blessings that made this year the best year in my life. i've met so many fil-ams, but no one can beat you in being a fil-am in the Philippines. i hope you don't mind that i made you one of the little brothers i never had.
