Helloooo!
Well, I finished reading Ensayo sobre la Ceguera of Jose Saramago.
The translated version of the title is Blindness. It is amazing. It is one of the great books of modern times I am sure. I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a good book to read. However, be warned it is extremely honest and sometimes it can be really harsh. BUT the whole experience is worth it. I promise.
And you ask why should I read it? What is so great about it? WeLL, let me tell you. The basic premise is - there is this man driving and he stops in a red light and suddenly, he becomes blind. He can only see white light. And soon this blindness starts spreading through out the city and then the nation. The story follows a small group of these blind people and what happens to them. It is very intelligently written and it definetely makes you wonder about human nature and our world. Its one of the greats, I tell you. :)
