A couple of years ago, a colleague asked me what I'd be doing if not biblical scholarship.  My answer, without a moment's hesitation: sexuality research.  Sex is too damn important to ignore, and you can't deny that it's an absorbing topic.

I think it's hilarious that the bisexual duck is named Lance. Isn't that a very stereotypically gay-guy name?

That IS funny, and ironic! Lance was named years before I met him, and 6 years ago (way before Dave was hatched) we called him Lance the Rapist, because he was so into mating and none of the female ducks could really keep up with him. Then we got Dave . . . :p

Penelope is humping Potassium with Ferdinand swimming around behind them. Earlier, Ferdinand was humping Potassium. We are pretty sure they are all girls because there are three eggs in the duck coop each morning. Potassium, Penelope, and Ferdinand are Cayuga ducks and are about seven months old. Cayuga ducks do not usually have the head tufts but it turns out that they sure are useful for kinky lesbian duck pool sex.

That was hilarious - thanks for linking to it! (I was also amused by the related videos of duck herding by sheepdogs.)

I wonder if Cayugas have more testosterone than other breeds, or if it's just coincidence . . .
