My fanfic characters have started writing fanfic of each other...
Work is crazy at the moment and not only sapping time but also brain power, so I'm going to have to put off the Halloween treats for a few days, maybe next weekend.
I did, however, catch two Glee spoilers that intrigued me in somewhat crossover-ish ways:
This Glee Kurt/Blaine/Sebastian scene totally had me thinking about this Brothers & Sisters Kevin/Scotty/Chad series of scenes. I believe were Glee on at 10 instead of 8, or on FX instead of FOX, it may very well have ended more like the Brothers & Sisters scenes.
On a more serious note, I think if they're setting up Sebastian as a long-game nemesis, they didn't do a very good job of it, because Sebastian made it so clear that all he's after is sex. I was really expecting more of a Warblerized Dustan Goolsby, to be honest: lead with the sex appeal as your strongest asset, yes, but don't make it so clear that you're going to bed the person you're pursuing and then dump him as soon as something prettier comes along, which will probably be about twenty minutes later.
Who knows, though? Maybe Sebastian will get more interesting. Maybe he will aim for that threesome after all.
In other fun news, Kurt's bucket list item of running LOGO gave me this crazy idea of Kurt re-starting the Donald Strachey Mysteries series and writing all the script adaptations. I know Strachey was on a different network than LOGO, but still. Donald/Timmy would so be up Kurt's alley.
My conclusion? When I get tired and punchy and don't have a lot of energy to write, the fanfic characters in my head start writing fanfic of each other. ???
