Glee Season 3.0 Redux, Part 1

I’ve been struggling recently with a lot of real-life stuff that I don’t feel like going into today. The good news is, I feel like I turned a corner this week. I feel human again.

Can you write the season? :) I like your edits. I didn't mind the setup of Mash-Off, but since IKAG sucked so much on following it up, I really like a lot of your suggestions for Mash-Off. I also fully agree with switching Artie and Emma in the talking-to-Shannon thing.

I agree with you that Asian F has been their strongest episode, followed by The First Time. I wish I had good suggestions for songs where you need them, though. :(

Also, I'm really glad to hear you feel like you've turned a corner. It sounds like you've had a rough few months, and I've been hoping things get easier for you. ::hugs::

Yeah, I'll write this season, and then you can pitch BSGlee as the "revolutionary" new structure for Season 4. :D

I get that it's difficult to give the adults storylines without tying them to the kids, but really, most of the storylines that center on an adult would work better if the kids were only tangentially involved.

Well, if you don't have any suggestions for songs for these episodes, you might for my re-write of the Episode Formerly Known as I Kissed a Girl...

Thanks. It has been a really...sucky five months, to be honest. I'm still not at 100%, but I'm feeling good enough that I can appreciate the good things and deal with the bad ones. And that's a huge improvement over where I was at.

I like your edits, too! You're right in saying Glee hasn't been as funny as it used to be.

Great great edits. I'd probably be a far more ruthless S3 editor myself. Like instead of trying to fix Rory, I'd just say never introduce the damn Rory character, because Damian can't act, his role is pointless and even I as a Brit cannot understand a bloody word he's saying. I'd much rather have kept more substantial characters like Jesse, Lauren and Karofsky around than get rid of them to make room for waffer-thin newbies like Rory, Sugar, Sebastian and Mercedes new boyfriend. I'm glad Sam is back at least ( ... )

I agree. If I could start totally from scratch, I think the only newbie I'd keep is Sugar. She's kind of Brittany 2.0, and that works--but I'd keep her in the original Brittany capacity of dancing and tossing off one-liners and background moments. I really, really miss Lauren. She really got the shaft in terms of a send-off; at least Karofsky's possibly last scene was a good one. I'm still crossing my fingers that the rumors about Jesse coming back will be true.

My own biggest edit complaint for S3 is that with the class president election and the congress election happening at the same time they had a golden opportunity for a shared Kurt & Burt story...Again, do I ever agree! To answer your next question, my re-write of The Episode Formerly Known as I Kissed a Girl, which I am about to post, ( ... )
