Another thing that I am learning to do lately is to break to-do-list tasks down into smaller sub-tasks, so I don't get overwhelmed and stuck before I even start. Applying this to LJ posting might seem a little silly, but it seems to be working today

Those are great DS9 characters to love. millari and I are both big Garak fans, too (you should read her lovely O'Brian/Bashir fic that she wrote for last year's Yuletide). And no, de-gaying him totally didn't work.

Hey, White Collar! :) I definitely recommend it. How far along have you gotten? FYI I personally feel that the show took a step up in quality about half-way through the first season. The pilot was great, shows 2 through 6 were inoffensive and fun, but really were carried mostly by the talent of the actors. Starting at episode 1-7, I think it took a turn up. So if you're feeling slightly distracted during the eps, I'd give it at least until episode 8. "Something that doesn't make me think too hard, but that's not dumb" is a really good description of the show. (And it's a nice palate cleanser after all the serious quality cable dramas. BSG yes, and I happen to be watching Breaking Bad at the moment. So I need White collar
