This is hilarious. I love Perceptive Brittany--and also Well-Read Lauren, who is my vote for the other half of Team Going To Save Them All. Quietly and unexpectedly. After all, all warfare is based on deception.

Looking forward to the next part!

Thanks! I think you have good guesses on who is going to save the day. ;) Though it's going to end up being a team effort in a lot of ways, too, Brittany and Lauren both keep their heads in strained situations.

Can I just have your brain, or something? Because your Sue voice is so many levels of amazing.

Apologies if this sounded at all creepy; I'm just going to go sit over here and wait for the next chapter.

Thank you, and no worries, it doesn't sound creepy at all. :) I've never written Sue before, but she is so, so much fun.

I'm very happy that you decided to base this after Prom Queen because I'm yet to see Funeral but I can read this fic and be unspoiled, HUZZAH!
I am in awe of your Sue. The journal entry was simply beyond amazing. I could hear Jane Lynch's voice in my head, I can imagine so many of the phrases coming out of her mouth in the show. AMAZING!!! Her interaction with Emma before getting on the bus was HILARIOUS.
Then she lifted her megaphone to her mouth (Will couldn’t help but wonder where it had come from-he’d sworn she hadn’t had it in her hand a minute ago.). - this reminds me of a villian from the old Looney Tunes cartoons, just randomly pulling objects out of thin air. It fits perfectly into Sue's outrageous character
Countess von Boobenhausen, I take back what I said about the uselessness of your surgery; it must be handy to be installed with your own personal airbags - ROFL! Holy goood Lord, I am so glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read this line, otherwise it would have ended up sprayed all over my computer screen, sooooo ( ... )

Thanks so much! I think you'll get why I had to set this after "Prom Queen" when you see "Funeral," but I'm glad you could read it, too. ;)

I'm really glad you enjoyed Sue. This was my first time writing her, and I'm having so much fun with her brand of crazy. Rachel's brand of crazy, I've played with a little before, and I do enjoy writing that, too.

I'm doing my best to make this as true of an ensemble piece as I can, giving everybody at least a little something fun to do at some point. Quinn and Mercedes are still refusing to do anything more interesting than stand around saying, "What should we do?" but I'm hoping to work in something even for them in the later chapters.

Thanks again for reading and commenting!

It's your first time writing Sue? [jaw-drop] That is so unbelievable to me, because it's sooooo good it's seriously like watching the character in the show!
Can't wait to read more :D

Oh my god this is hysterical.

I started copying lines into this to mention specifically, but I went over the character limit.

Ah, what's fresh in my mind:

"This book has renewed me will to live."

Lauren and Sue.

BRITTANY and Sue, oh my god.

Brad and Tina and Rachel's dads oh my god.

Sue feeling that the Glee Kids' tendency to spill their guts to the nearest ear explains a lot.

And the whole thing, wow. I can't wait for the next part!

Thanks so much! It's kind of fun how one can stick Sue with pretty much any other character, and interesting things will happen. I'm really not sure what it is that created the Sue-Lauren mutual respect, whether it's respect for badassedry or if there's blackmail involved, but it was a fun bit to write.

Glad you liked Rachel's dads. ;) That's been my personal headcanon for a while now.

I just posted Chapter 2, and I plan on posting Chapter 3 on Friday. Thanks again for reading and commenting!
