I'm figuring either Finn will get Tony (or Puck), or the "shocking decision" about Maria is that they'll decide to do a m/m couple and Kurt will get Maria. (Which would definitely make the top of Rachel's head lift off.) But I don't know what the fallout will be. I am looking forward to it though ( ... )

Heh, I like the Matrix joke. :) Weirdly enough, I'm not going with either of those alternatives, but thank you because it helped me figure out what I needed: Blaine needs to get angry. He's the one throughout the fic who's kind of saying, "Fence needs mending? But the fence is perfectly fine! We send birthday cards and everything!" and "Well, not every dad can be Burt Hummel." Now if I could just find time to write that and my ship-swap...

On a completely non-related note, you've heard the spoilers about the election, right? With Brittany screwing Kurt over on the class president thing? What I need to know is this:

Does this make Brittany the Baltar to Kurt's Roslin??????????

That is both scary and awesome. (And begs the question of who is Zarek, then?? Santana?)

You know, come to think of it, Brittany is one of the few people besides Baltar whom I could honestly believe could bring about the apocalypse completely by accident.

Not weird at all! :) Life is interfering with my writing time, so it's going to be a while yet, but I did send off a big chunk to beta #1 this weekend...

I'd love to hear Santana sing 'America' and Mike sing 'Cool'. Also it might be fun for Puck to sing lead on 'Officer Krupke'. I'm not sure what the surprise decision will be. I'm sure Will would go for Finn/Rachel or Blaine/Rachel for Tony & Maria. Where's Jesse when you need him. I could see Kurt as Baby John, the jet who always cries! But who knows? Every school musical has been cancelled so far.

See, this is where I have hope for unusual casting decisions, because Will is not in the driver's seat on the play. I have no idea what Beiste, Emma, and Artie will come up with for casting, but I believe they might be able to think outside the box.

(Though yes, it's really too bad Jesse isn't here. I'd be fine with him popping up randomly for this, I really would.)
