Today I stumbled across the necklace my mom was wearing when she passed away. And I've found it to be quite symbolic and I can only hope that's what she meant for me to think of it. I have the same feelings about my parents. My dad won't be giving me away at my wedding. My mom won't ever see her grand children, but they will both always be a part of me, physically and emotionally. They are always here and I find comfort in that. Best wishes to you and your sister, from someone who doesn't know how you feel exactly, but is here and has been through it too.
